Quando andavo all’università i regali di Natale non erano un problema: amavo portarmi avanti con gli acquisti e il risultato era che, ogni anno, a fine Novembre mi ritrovassi già con tutti i regali di Natale terminati. Credo di essere una di quelle persone a cui fare il regalo piace più che riceverlo: girare per negozi lasciandomi completamente avvolgere dall’atmosfera Natalizia, pensare alla persona a cui voglio bene e ai suoi desideri per cercare qualcosa che davvero si addica alla personalità, nonchè l’emozione di guardare la sua faccia mentre scarta il mio pacchetto. Credo non ci sia niente di più bello e credo che sia uno degli elementi più belli di ogni Natale.
Da qualche anno, diciamo pure da quando ho iniziato a lavorare, il tempo per i regali di Natale è sempre meno e, mai come oggi, deve essere ottimizzato al meglio. Mi rimangono solo i weekend per acquistare i regalini per le persone a me più care e, ve lo devo confessare, ad oggi non ho ancora acquistato neanche un regalino. Mi ridurrò all’ultimo, al prossimo weekend, se va bene. During university time Christmas gifts were not a problem: I loved to take me forward with purchases and the result was that, every year, at the end of November all my Christmas presents were done. I guess I’m one of those people who like to make the gifts more than receive them: going around to shops feeling completely wrapped by Christmas atmosphere, thinking about the person I love and her/his desires, looking for something that really fit her/his personality and, of course, the thrill of watching her/his face while is opening my package. I think there is nothing more beautiful and I think it’s one of the things I love the most about Christmas.
Since a few years, let’s say since I started working, time for Christmas gifts is becoming less and, this year more than ever, needs to be optimized. I have only one weekend left to buy all the gifts for my dearest people, because, I must confess, I have buying nothing yet. But I fell good: all the ideas are here in my mind, as well as the list of places to look for. I just have to find an afternoon to put them all into practice.
