5 Christmas party outfits from Zita Fabiani boutique
A few weeks ago I was invited to Rome to attend the re-opening of an historic boutique of the city. A fabulous trip, and not just because of the temperature: in Rome fall did not seem to be arrived, the bougainvillea were still partially in bloom, the leaves on the trees were still green, and nearly double the degrees of Turin! On this occasion I had the opportunity to see the store and to choose some outfits that I find perfect for the coming festive season …
The first is comfy and cozy: I was wearing a Jeremy Scott maxi angora sweater with a pattern of colored planets. Perfect paired with my favorite cuissardes in black leather and a shoulder bag with jewel stone that adds a precious touch to the look. This bag, like all those that you will see me wearing these outfits, belongs to the collection designed by my friend Pippo of the brand Gedebe! How pretty are they?!
The second outfit has as its protagonist a MSGM tulle skirt with glitter embroidery that I found you perfectly matched to the clutch in metallic leather on the same color tones. To dampen up the outfit I chose a basic sweater in wool and, for the shoes, a pair of biker boots.
The third is the sportiest look of all: I thought it would still be fine for the party season if you want to be comfortable yet fashionable. I was wearing a red sweatshirt with Kenzo logo and a pair of slack trousers with colorful side bands that recalls the sweatshirt. For the shoes I chose my Puma sneakers, but I would see very well a shoe with stiletto heel. For the bag I chose to stay on red Christmas shade with a bucket bag with fringes and a precious shoulder strap, from Gedebe too.
This one looks instead is designed for those who, like me, loves to wear all black. The dress is by Marco Bologna and has a romantic cut: the skirt is pleated, the front is decorated with ruffles and the collar ends in a bow. I paired it with a pair of biker boots and I added a touch of color with the pink bag: a Gedebe small bucket with fringes, jewel details and pompom.
The final look is what I then wore for the event at Zita Fabiani boutique, which I’m about to tell you! I paired a shirt with ruffles by Kenzo with an animal print skirt of the same designer: two pieces that made me fall in love at first sight!
These are the 5 outfits for the holidays that I selected at Zita Fabiani and are almost all present on their e-store… What is your favorite?
Now let’s talk about main reason that led me to Rome: Zita Fabiani wanted me to participate to its re-opening! Founded as a boutique in 1963, it was closed to the public in recent months to allow restructuring designed by architect Marco Costanzi. Now it has four floors through which it develops a hyper bright exhibition, played on marble, brass and crystal, for a total surface area of 2500 square meters which is located at number 205 of Via Ugo Ojetti. A complete redesign of the store in luxury key that is chic but cozy at the same time! The brand selection is very wide and varied: in addition to the ones I have worn, there are Brunello Cucinelli, Etro, Burberry, Ferragamo, Rick Owens, Fausto Puglisi and many others.
Among the evening’s guests, many familiar faces from movies and Italian television. Gianmarco Tognazzi, Rossella Brescia, Rocio Munoz Morales, Vittoria Belvedere… Also two of my favorite actors of all: Pierfrancesco Favino and Fabio Troiano, with whom I had the pleasure of exchanging a few words during the evening (did you see him in my Instagram Stories @lauracomolli?!).
After the cocktail, the holder Gianni Colasanti has invited us all to Palazzo Colonna, for an exclusive dinner. While I was wandering from one room to the other, I thought if that was the same feeling that the actors of The Great Beauty had!
Even the Hotel Palazzo Dama, where we were hosted, was fabulous: look at the views!
Have a good Tuesday to you all!
