Tweed trousers: Fall 2016 fashion trend
In the top 10 of the pants you should own in your fall wardrobe there are tweed trousers. It is a classic and rigorous fabric, which is made of raw wool yarns from which the result is an irregular pattern. Originally reserved for men’s fashion, for almost a century is also have been used in women’s fashion thanks to pioneer Coco Chanel (the fabric is still the mainstay of the Chanel collections designed by Karl Lagerfeld). This year the tweed was revisited, becoming the star of the fall 2016 fashion. I chose a pair of cropped tweed trousers, a model that is very trendy almost in this second part of the year! The tailor cut makes it perfect for the office, as for more casual occasions.
I paired my tweed trousers with a white shirt with the unusual element of the double collar and double buttons. Above I added a long oversized pearl gray coat of which I love the cut and the fit. I opted for a similar shade of gray for the shoes: a pair of ballerinas with toe and double black belts in contrast, besides the peculiarities of the medium heel decorated with pearls. As the bag I wanted to add one of my favorite colors of the last period: the pink of my Chanel mini!
This is the look I chose for my fifth and last day of Paris Fashion Week! What do you think?
I leave you to the photos, which were taken in one of my favorite places in Paris: the Alexander III Bridge!
Happy Friday and good weekend to all!
